Our Food Safety Standards [Quality Systems] are audited annually by the Yarra Ranges Council’s Health Department. Aside of the wholesome goodness of dairy and acidophilus, here’s what some of our chosen fruits bring to the party:

Blueberries
Blueberries contain special antioxidants called carotenoids (lutein, zeaxanthin etc.), flavonoids (like rutin, resveratrol, quercetin etc.) and other antioxidant compounds like vitamin A, C, E, selenium, zinc and phosphorus, which are all very beneficial and essential for ocular health.

Boysenberries
Very high in Vitamin C and fibre, Boysenberries contain high levels of anthocyanins that give them their deep, dark colour and work as antioxidants to help fight damage within the body.

Raspberries
Raspberries are nutritional powerhouses and packed with fibre, thanks in part to their tiny edible seeds.  Their phytochemical content includes such cancer-fighters as beta-carotene, ellagic acid, catechins and monoterpenes (which also inhibit cholesterol production). Raspberries are a good source of Vitamin C, too.

Strawberries
Ounce for ounce, strawberries have more Vitamin C than citrus fruit.  One serving of strawberries contains 20% of your daily folic acid (folate) requirement which is necessary for the production and maintenance of new cells. Strawberries also have no fat or cholesterol and are high in fibre!

Blackberries
Blackberries contain a wide array of important nutrients including potassium, magnesium and calcium, as well as vitamins A, C, E and most of our B vitamins. They are also a rich source of anthocyanins, powerful antioxidants that give blackberries their deep purple colour.

Blueberries
Blueberries, an Antioxidant Superfood, packed with antioxidants and phytoflavinoids, these berries are also high in potassium and vitamin A, C, E, making them the top choice of doctors and nutritionists. Not only can they lower your risk of heart disease and cancer, they are also anti-inflammatory.

Rhubarb
Rhubarb is high in vitamin K (which is essential for strong bones), vitamin C, iron, manganese, calcium and fibre.

Mango
Mangoes may very well be the king of all fruits. They fight cancer, alkalize the body, regulate diabetes, help digestion, clean your skin and make the perfect snack.
